On September 15, 2025, a preventive awareness event was organized at the Student Dormitory of Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy to prevent possible emergencies and fires during the autumn–winter season and to address their potential consequences.

The event was attended by:

Captain B.Bobojonov – Head of Urgench City Department of Emergency Situations,
A.Rajapov – Senior Inspector of Urgench City Emergency Department,
F.Kurbaniyazova – Engineer for Emergency Situations at the branch,
K.Sobirov – Occupational Safety Engineer,
N.Matrasulova – Head of the Student Dormitory,
B.Qurbanov – Tutor of the Faculty of Pediatrics,
R.Atajonov – Educator-pedagogue.

During the session, students were briefed on:

preventing risks of poisoning from natural and carbon monoxide gas,
proper use of heating devices,
adhering to fire safety regulations.

Practical demonstrations were given on how to use fire extinguishers correctly.

Speakers emphasized that human health is the highest value, urging students to strictly follow fire safety rules at home, in daily life, and during their studies. The event also included a Question-and-answer session where students received answers to their concerns.

At the conclusion, engineers F.Kurbaniyazova and K.Sobirov provided updates on recent fire incidents in the country, shared guidelines on the safe use of electricity and heating systems, and called on everyone to remain vigilant.
